It is important to us that our nursery provides special care our littlest worshippers. We do our best to provide a safe and loving atmosphere that complements the Christian nurture your child experiences at home. Through love and understanding, we strive to help your child build trusting relationships and develop a feeling of belonging at church.
Noah’s Nursery serves children from birth through age 3 (as of September 1). If your child turns 3 during the year, they will be promoted into J.A.M. the following fall. There are two rooms in the Children’s wing dedicated to our babies and toddlers. The nursery room is for non-walkers and early walkers (birth through approximately 18 months). The toddler room is for proficient walkers (19 months through 3 years).
Each room has a paid nursery staff member in the room every week as well as at least one adult and one youth volunteer. All staff and adult volunteers that have contact with children are FBI background checked and receive annual training on Kaw Prairie’s Child Protection Policy.
The nursery opens 30 minutes before worship. Children can be taken to the nursery immediately after they are checked-in or any time during worship.
