Kaw Prairie's high energy, hands-on Exploring Communion Retreat for kids Grades 2-5 takes place in beautiful Hollis Renewal Center in Bonner Springs, KS. Children will learn the biblical roots of Communion, as well as make clay chalices, hand-kneaded honey communion bread, and, to top it all off, will stomp grapes into a gross grape slurry-- in their bare-feet! Participants who haven't received Communion yet will have their First Communion on Sunday, April 11 back at Kaw Prairie. Find out more from Laura.
