Jesus And Me (J.A.M.)

Jesus And Me (J.A.M.) is a super-fun, super-cool children’s program that goes on during the sermon at each Kaw Prairie service. All children age 3 (as of September through 5th grade are invited to participate in J.A.M.

Children enter the worship area with their families and worship together until after communion. Then the children are dismissed to J.A.M., where they get to learn about God's word in an fun and energetic environment.

Our time in J.A.M. begins each week with all children gathered together to sing action-packed praise songs. Bible stories are taught in this large group setting with awesome graphics to reinforce the main point of the day and show the children how to apply the Biblical concepts in their daily lives. After opening, children go into small groups based on age or grade level. During these small groups, the lesson for the day is reinforced through with age appropriate activities.

Each small group is taught by two adult volunteers. All staff and volunteers that have contact with children are FBI background checked and receive annual training on Kaw Prairie’s Child Protection Policy.
