It would be beneficial to learn about the 17th Amendment teainsd of the 19th. When the Senators were chosen by the ND (or whatever state), when we citizens didn't like how they voted, we could pressure the ND legislation to recall them. In that way, it was a protection of the State of ND having as much voice as the more populist state. Please publish in the Prairie Post.
