JAM Dinner & A Movie Night Feb. 17 

Kaw Prairie kids from preschool to 5th grade and friends are invited to join us for our monthly JAM Dinner & A Movie event. We'll gather at the church at 6:30 p.m. for dinner followed by a lesson and movie. Parents/guardians can drop children off for the evening or join us for dinner. Pick up is at about 8:30 p.m. It's all free!

In February, we’ll have Dino nuggets, macaroni and cheese and Koolade for dinner. Popcorn will be our movie snack. Kids who don't like what's on the menu can bring their own dinner or arrive closer to 7 p.m. when the movie will begin. 

Parent and youth helpers are appreciated! If you are willing to help us out with one movie night this year, please email alexial@kawprairie.org

We also appreciate our talented cooks who are willing to donate a dessert for a movie night. If you are interested in baking for one of our movie nights, please email alexial@kawprairie.org.

What to bring: Yourself and a pillow

Times: 6:30 p.m. to about 8:30 p.m.

Our main point: Freedom in Christ is a gift!

Our Bible passage: Galatians 5:1a: "It is for freedom that Christ has set us free."

This month, we’ll have hot dogs, tropical fruit and Koolade for dinner. And popcorn will be our movie snack. Kids who don't like hot dogs can bring their own dinner or arrive closer to 7 p.m. when the movie will begin.

Our main point: God will find you where you are because He loves you.

Our Bible passage: Matthew 18:12-14 “If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them wanders away, what will he do? Won’t he leave the ninety-nine others on the hills and go out to search for the one that is lost? 13 And if he finds it, I tell you the truth, he will rejoice over it more than over the ninety-nine that didn’t wander away! 14 In the same way, it is not my heavenly Father’s will that even one of these little ones should perish."

Our Bible passage: Psalm 25:9: “He guides the humble in His way and teaches them what is right."
