We know faith is a team sport. Not just worshipping, but growing and serving as well. That’s why we offer small groups, disciple opportunities, and fellowship events. We want you to know you don’t have to do this alone. Together we can learn to trust Jesus, grow disciples, and bless others.
We accomplish this by focusing on three directions…
All of us want to belong, and know we’re contributing something meaningful to what matters most. We regularly invite you regularly try out short-term small groups (like Financial Peace U groups this fall, or Lenten University classes next spring), or to get acquainted with other more organically in fellowship events, support groups, and topical life-classes. Kaw Prairie provides fun ways to make a few new friends, safe places to laugh at ourselves, and the deeper joy of knowing you’re no longer on the outside looking in.
Jesus’ post-resurrection plan for his disciples was that they would not only spend time together in life and mission, but they would learn to love spending time with him, too. We are constantly finding new ways to invite believers and seekers to spend time with God daily in prayer, weekly in worship, and life-long in his Word. Ask about our spiritual growth-fostering ministries like the easy-entry, nine-week Alpha program, and, for those willing to commit more, the six-month Followers Made covenant offered throughout the year.
We believe that we respond to God’s grace in Jesus not only by saying yes to it, but by serving and loving others for the joy of it — blessing others in my church and beyond. Kaw Prairie invites you to discover your spiritual gifts and then, with the help of staff and volunteers committed to helping you find your place, equipping and growing you to be fruitful and fulfilled as you serve in Jesus’ name.
