Family Ministry Summer Events

Before you know it the kids will be out of school and wanting to find something fun to do. This summer, Kaw Prairie is offering engaging, meaningful, and FUN events for kids of all ages. Check out the details below!

  • Heartland Day Camp

    June 1-5

    For elementary aged kids, our annual day camp is full of fun - complete with Bible studies, camp songs, horse riding, rock walls, water slides, and more!

  • Rainbow Trail Lutheran Camp

    June 7-13

    Middle school students travel to Colorado for a week of adventure in God’s great outdoors with white water rafting, mountain hikes, late-night worship, and epic fun!

  • Alabama Mission Trip

    June 23-29

    Our high school trip dives deep into connection to community through service projects, meaningful worship, and hype activities.

  • July Day Camp

    July 13-17

    NEW! This year we are partnering with Holy Cross Lutheran Church to offer a day camp, hosted at Hollis Retreat Center. It’s a great chance to meet new friends and have fun!

  • Vacation Bible School

    August 3-6

    Designed for our youngest kiddos, our preschool-aged VBS is sure to be a hit for your little one. Sing songs, create art, dance around, and make friends!
